The Wedding and Reception will be located on the property of Bill & Maria Walker at
4496 45th Ave, Norwalk, IA
Wedding Ceremony at 4:00pm.

A Note About the Weather:
As we get closer to our wedding day, we wanted to share a quick note regarding the weather and what to expect.
With rain in the forecast, we encourage our guests to dress accordingly and choose footwear that will be comfortable in potentially wet conditions. Due to the weather, we will no longer be hosting the celebration on the grassy area of the property. Instead, the event will take place on a gravelled area, which will provide a more comfortable and practical setting should the weather be wet.
While we may have a little rain to contend with, we are looking forward to celebrating with all of you! Please come prepared for the elements and ready to enjoy an evening filled with good company, great memories, and plenty of fun.
**IMPORTANT WEDDING UPDATE – DETAILS BELOW***
Due to the weather, we are revising some of the logistics for the wedding:
Parking and Shuttle
- Parking will no longer be available on site, there are a few alternatives:

- Uber/Lyft *Strongly Recommended*: Call ride share directly to 4496 45th Ave. Norwalk, IA 50211. Have the driver drop you off at the end of the driveway.
- Park and Ride from Norwalk High School: Beginning at 2:30pm, park at Norwalk High School (1201 North Ave. Norwalk, IA 50211). We will be shuttling people in a 12 passenger van. The van will run back and forth until the wedding begins at 4:00pm. We will start running return trips to the high school at 7:00pm and they will continue through the end of the night.
- Please note: Vehicles will not be permitted down the driveway. The driveway is a 0.25 mi walk. If you have mobility issues, there is a Bobcat available to transport a limited number of people
Weather and Attire
We want our guests to dress comfortably, we suggest preparing for the cold and rain by wearing layers, rain gear and shoes that can get a little dirty.

Services
The wedding well be held outdoors on the property of Bill & Maria Walker with a large pitched tent, food truck for all our guests, and nice restroom facilities.

We will be providing food from Brick & Ember pizza food truck.

Restroom Facilities
We will be providing a two-stall restroom trailer with running water.

Parking
There will be parking near the event in the field but we ask that people carpool/Uber as much as possible.

Large Outdoor Tent
We will have a large pitched outdoor tent in case of rain. This tent is in a grassy field so please dress accordingly.

What is the attire?
We ask that you dress nicely but also comfortably for an outdoor wedding and ready to party. The wedding will require walking through grass for parking but will be on gravel and concrete pad for the event.

How will I get home?
We want everyone to have a good time, but responsibly!! Please arrange for a safe ride home (Uber, Lyft, friend, uncle, horse, etc.) Venue is not responsible for guests. Carpool as much as possible.

Do you have a registry?
We might have few items on our registry which can be found on the navigation bar of this website but in lieu of most gifts we are asking our friends and family to help fund our honeymoon which is also available through the Registry link or you can Venmo, Cash App, or ApplePay us.
